Kim's challenge this week was to use twine. I was lucky enough to get some lovely bakers twine at Christmas, so I definitely wanted to use that. I'm almost finished a little baby sweater, so I made a tag to use with that. Still waiting for my Sizzix tag die, so I used a large punch and layered it up on cardstock. Image from Little Hellos stamped with Versafine Black and coloured with watercolour crayons. I sponged the edges with brown, and then punched down one side with the smallest of the Fiskars eyelet setters, and threaded the twine through. Trimmed it, taped it at the back to stop the knots coming undone and stuck it to some old Junkitz paper. The tag was embossed with Swiss Dots, the blue layer with Script. I used the round tab punch and a jumbo eyelet for the top, and a crocheted strand of twine. |
