I made this last night for one of my elderly clients who is a retired logger, hence... not too much bling! I've recently discovered stampscapes so thought I'd share my first project. The background is done with three Ranger Inks: Aqua, Pool and Stream. Adding extra layers of each tint really achieved the look I desired. I wanted to add some snow to the branches but every pen or liquid I tried turned out transparent. :o(
It was a fun card to make and I'm pleased with how it turned out! Hope you like it too..

Love the card, the sketch and the colors. It's a wonderful masculine card but easily adaptable for many occasions.
I do not know if this product (Snow Writer by DecoArt) would work but it dries hard so I think it might. The URL probably won't show as a link so copy/paste into your browser to read about it on the manufacturer's website. I used it on some of my cards this past christmas and received compliments.

Sheree, sounds like you work with the elderly. Could be as a care giver/case manager/nurse? In any event, it takes a very special person to work with the aging population. Good for you and for your client: your card is wonderful. I love the shading and the teal colors. It's fascinating, really. Justamazing work.

Thanks for the lovely comments! Yes, I do work with the elderly,,, mostly war veterans. We have so much fun when we're together which makes the job one I'll stick with for a very long time!
