In the Bible, James 2 talks about having faith and works acting together. He says if you see a brother in need and send him away with your best wishes only and do nothing to help even though you can, what value is your faith?!! My daughters MIL was in town the other day at our local Tim Horton's coffee/donut shop and one of our town's social misfits was in there. He is a funny duck of a man in his 70's and when she asked him what he was doing for Christmas, he hung his head and said nothing. My daughter's MIL told her and she told me. She is having Christmas dinner and wants him invited. This is the invite I made for him. I have heard that he loves mother and child images and has them stuck with tape all over his walls, so I thought this would be just the right invitation.

Absolutely beautiful story with a matching invitation. I just love this kind of thing. More people should realize that it REALLY makes you feel good when you can help another soul. Well, love your work and I'm sure he will too. Great story...got to get some tissue now. Merry Christmas!!

Oh my, your story brought tears to my eyes about your innate kindness. You not only "talk the talk", but "walk the walk". We should all be more like you! This card is exquisite and something that this poor man is surely to treasure.

This card is so lovely, but not more than the beautiful thought behind it. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and that our Heavenly Father showers His blessings down on you!
