A dear friend has come down with a serious illness. We are talking almost every day as he goes through the tests and plans his treatment. I thought I'd make a card for him.
I used the color green in the apron as the starting point.
I wanted to keep it monochromatic adding the twill as the only embellishment. I used the scalloped circle to create some clouds and the woodgrain background on the bottom of the base. Tea stain distressing ink applied around the edges. The main panel is emboss resist. I've stamped the damask motif and the 24-7 words in tone on tone.
Thanks for viewing and commenting.

What a beautiful work of art....this one of my favourite colours and sponging is one of my favourite techniques. I've seen clouds done that way before and it's a beautiful look and you got it just right. Love your card!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
