From the day Bree was born
Shoes were always her passion
A fetish, it seems
She must be in fashion
42,000 pairs
Not really too many
A small fortune they cost
But worth every penny
Imelda, a mentor
Sadly, itÂ’s true
Oh, look at that pair
She must have them in blue
With sandals & pumps
And boots to the knee
The feeling she gets
Is delight, joy & glee
Extra cookies for me today. I included the phrase “shoes were always…” in my little verse. Maybe, I’ll get even more for including the word “glee”. Like I need the calories. Snort! Confused? Well it is Tuesday so that means Teapot Challenge time. Before Bree can go shopping she must put the spilled items back in her upended purse.
This card is going out to Abby, a young woman battling cancer. Hope it brings her joy.

Extra extra cookies for you. I think there's probably a bonus for working the catch phrase into a poem. Love the purse filled with all the purse essentials.
