MotherMark has us going to London for tea this week. London, OHIO that is......to the home of my friend Brenda. She and I have a business called Dolly's Tea Parlor and we give great tea parties in a wonderful 1892 Victorian mansion called Maple Villa that Brenda and her husband, Curt own. Did I mention that they've been married for 51 years and have 5 sons and tons of extended family? We have been unable to do tea parties this year due to Brenda's illness with cancer and chemo treatments. So the teapotters are going to throw her a tea party for her birthday which is December 11th. Come join in the fun and make this a really happy birthday.
This card represents the feeling we like to convey at our tea parties....elegant and inviting. We set our tables with linen and fine china. Tea is a state of mind........it's meant to calm and de-stress...and entertain as well as nourish.
Thanks for looking !

I like my tea in mugs, mostly, but I do think pretty china looks lovely - like your cup. And while it's a pain to iron I definitely like linen cloths and napkins. Those colours certainly bring elegance and sophistication to the party this week, with a lovely soft feel, too.

Thanks Tina for making this awesome sample card for today's challenge. It is so very pretty......It reminds me of Dolly's Tea Parlor? Whut? It was supposed to? It does! Tea hee!
