Hi everyone,
I am ecstatic with how this card turned out. Monday is the end of quarter 1 in school and I'll be getting a new general arts class. My old one was art, and I had the BEST art teacher IMAGINABLE!! Anyway, I wanted to make a card to say thanks and I think this one fits the bill!! The owl image is from Mark's Finest Papers, and so is the "owl" down below. The "miss you" is from the Angel Company. I colored the owl with colored pencils and put rhinestones in the rounded corners. I hope you like it!!
Thanks for looking!!
Joanna
P.S. I think this is the best image I have ever colored with colored pencils. Do you agree?

Joanna, this card turned out so very, very well!! I agree--this is a super coloring job, probably the best you've ever done. It was so thoughtful of you to make a card using Ms. O'Brien's favorite things: owls, burnt umber, and amber. I'm sure she'll love it and will miss you, too. How sweet of you to want to thank her for a great quarter of art class, especially with something handmade!
Keep up the great work, sweetheart. Your art skills are growing by leaps and bounds!
Love you lots and lots! And I'm so proud of you,
Mom

This looks terrific! I love your matting and that you used that bold yellow color and DP - I don't think yellow is used nearly enough, and it is such ahappy color, don't you agree?
