What an amazing artist, Stef and interesting medium, too. I love going through Miyuki Sakai's gallery...and loved so many...the eggplants, the bridge, but when I saw this portrait under the PEOPLE category the woman with the upswept hair. I knew I would use this great image of women from B Lines Design called the Fountain of Women. So here's my artistic interpretation of our inspiration challenge.
It's all about blue today and also for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger challenge. I am falling in love with these blue hues!
Thanks so much for having a look. If you are interested there are more musings over at one4joydaily

Oh my goodness, Susan, this is inspired in more ways than the Inspiration Challenge! What an absolutely amazing image, which speaks and tells a story - and the sentiment, it's just well, so, so true!! Love how you used the little bit of fabric for "cover" and the little fastener (not sure what they're called, never had much experience with them!) it's unbelievably creative! And the blues are gorgeous - on top of everything, in spite of all the wonderful detail, it's not fussy, still almost CAS!! Okay, by now, I think you can tell I'm impressed.

Fabulous clothing and lack there of. I love the tattoo on the woman. You are always adding something unique, and giving us a perspective we may not have thought of. Great job!!

Soo awesome! Love everything you have done to this image! I want it, just so I can duplicate what you have done! Your card is beautiful! Your paper piecing is impeccable!
