Dawn, thank you for the rummaging and scavenging challenge. I have a box I throw all my misfits into for such a time as this! In fact, I recently made a RAK for a dear SCS friend just pulling out this and that. I knew she would love going through 'that junk'. I am glad I saved the hand (100 Proof Press) though...it SERVED as the perfect backdrop for my card today. Please have a look...
I simply adore this slice of cake from Impression Obsession. It is wonderful just simply stamped on white, but since the recipient of this card loves red velvet cake, I thought paper piecing the layers would create a mouth watering effect. All my papers are bits and pieces of Basic Grey. I save the tiniest snippet. The sentiment is also from IO.
Stressed spelled backwards is DESSERTS!
Now my coworker and I have been working to help in a new department that desperately short- HANDED..that added to our regular responsibilities has us stressed. I am going to stop off at my favorite bakery before I go into work this afternoon and buy the hunking, biggest slice of cake I can find~~~and 2 forks.
Thanks for much for taking the time to read this...I appreciate your comments. They provide fuel for my muse! Have a wonderful Fall weekend.

Oh, your paper pieced cake looks delicious!!! Very cleverly done with the hand/arm clothed in a fairly dapper plaid suit too! Love the sentiment done vertically. This card will bring a smile, which in itself will be stress relieving!! Enjoy that big hunk of cake you two, you deserve it!
