This card is for HYCCT17, to pop up an element of a card. It's taken me till now to discover watercolouring with dye inks... I really like it! (My excuse: I have almost all pigment inks... :P) I also finally bought Fifth Avenue Floral, after admiring many cards with the set. The base is textured Almost Amethyst; I inked the image first in Versamark and then in Almost Amethyst ink so I could clear emboss the image to waterproof it before I used my Koi waterbrush to shade with the ink. (I'll keep practicing...) If I had the matching marker, I would have added a frame to the white panel... but I don't, so I went with uber-simple. Thanks for taking a peek!

Watercolor with dye inks? That's a new one on me. Yours turned out beautiful. I must try that because I bought lots of dye inks in the beginning, not knowing the difference.
Next time you want to frame a panel but don't have the right marker, try "inking" the edges of the panel by running the ink pad along them. If you lean the ink pad slightly toward the front of the panel, while running it (the ink pad) along the edge, you can get enough color to separate the panel from the base card.
