I created this card for this week's sketch challenge at Waltzingmouse Stamps (http://waltzingmousesketchchallenge.blogspot.com) taking inspiration from the colors in this week's inspirational photo at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long (http://christmasstampin.blogspot.com). I really liked the CAS style of the sketch this week. I stamped the holly leaves twice on glorious green cardstock and then again on green galore cardstock, cut them out and layered them. I stamped the 'berry' image three times on real red cardstock and punched them out with a 3/4" circle punch. I don't know if you can tell in the photo, but the middle berry is raised with a dimensional. I wanted to incorporate the sparkle in the inspirational photo so I added some rhinestones to the centers of the berries. Since this Sewing Box -Christmas set from waltzingmouse stamps incorporates faux stitching in its design, it satisfies the requirements for this week's Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge at Mark's Finest papers (http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com) as well.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card. I hope you like it.
