I issued this week's TSC to do a card using any color, style, tools, etc., which would help illustrate your heritage. I'm come from German heritage is the translation for the sentiment. I tried to include all the aspects I remember from my childhood in Bavaria; Alps, my traditional dress, our home resplendent with Geraniums in the flower boxes and BEER!!! I used techniques I've learned over the years from Michelle Zindorf to create the mountains. I had to draw and paper piece the Frauline (girl) and the beer steins. No, I didn't drink beer as a child but I sure did help serve it to our friends who visited on weekends. I also remember the best pretzels but I just couldn't get my drawing to work on them!!! Great, now I'm hungry...............

Mmmmm...I am drooling for those pretzels! Tater girl, your drawing is wonderful! Home... I bet your mom loved seeing this one. My mom would have loved your geraniums, she had them all over the porches surrounding her home and I smile to see a geranium to this day! Your Zin mountains and trees are gorgeous sis, and the clouds are lovely! Gosh, I better figure out just what my heritage is, so's I an play cards with you! Thanks for a fun and thoughtful challenge this week! BIG fat hugs, you did a wonderful job! LYMI....

Well this is just awesome! I love your drawings! I bet most Germans would think the Select 55 I drink only occasionally tastes like colored water!! I think they like theirs a bit stronger. I really like the pretty outfit you're wearing there. Great job putting this all together! Thanks for this wonderful challenge! You're right; we'll all get to know each other a little better!!!
