This card was the winner of the Inspiration Challenge at The Shabby Tea Room to make a vintage Halloween card. It uses the Friday Sketchers Sketch.
I started with a great Inkadinkado Chandelier as my focal point & incorporated the great vintage patterns and colors of My Mind's Eye Spider's Web collection into my design.
I framed my Chandelier with a vintage frame hand-cut from Hambly Frame Wallpaper transparency for this week's Just Us Girls' Technique Challenge to incorporate acetate.
I added several punches including Martha Stewart Lace Border and McGill Vintage Label punch for the sentiment, which is from Crafty Secrets Chandelier Fun.
I finished with a vintage lace bow and vintage lace flower (I found a big bag filled with all sorts of vintage lace at the thrift store). I made the flower by attaching a thick 3-D glue dot and gathering the lace around in a circle & attaching a black vintage glass button to the center.
Since bats "hang out" for Halloween (yes, my own puns do make me laugh ... my husband says if you can't amuse yourself, you might as well give-up), I added a few punched once for the finishing touch.
