This is for TLC293 to create a project where we split our images in some way. I instantly thought of doing trees and splitting them into three panels. One of my all time favorite stamps sets is lovely as a tree, especially the evergreen. I stamped the tree several times on watercolor paper using Peeled Paint and then heat dried. I used a dry brush that I ran directly on the ink pad to collect ink and then applied it to the trees using a stipple motion. If I were to use wet ink with water on the waterbased ink it would make it run. When I was finished with the green I heat dried again to set the green ink. I then used a small dry brush to apply brown ink to the trunks and little limbs of the trees. I think this makes the trees look so real and natural. I added a touch of green and brown to the ground area under the trees for the look of a forest floor. I sponged yellow around the trees to highlight and soften them against the white watercolor paper. I think this makes a great guy card even though there is a bow.
