This has been a morning!!! DH is moving furniture in his office, which involves me moving MY desk out. I had other plans! Then, I woke up late, and tried to fit three things into my card today, two challenges and a much needed thank you note to our friend Elaine in Bryn Mawr.
The challenges went fine, but here's the snafu....did you ever try using construction paper on a card? Mom and I split a pack of a really pretty rosy pink. I hope this card stays together. My first problem began when I tried to apply the frame to the image panel. I had to end up using my tape runner, as nothing else stuck. Then there was goo on the edges, and my scissors are a mess! The ribbon wouldn't stick, so tape runner again. I used a glue stick on the front to make the pink stick to the card. Hope it stays.
Elaine will like this...the colors and the cat, and cross your fingers it arrives in this condition in PA!! The tissue doesn't look pure white......did anyone else have this happen??
That's my saga. Off to find a place for my desk. Oh. And here's my BLOG (pink is a shade of RED!)

This looks gorgeous, Anne, despite all the snafus!!! The pink paper is a beautiful color and I love how the black cat looks on the tissue paper!!! My white tissue paper stayed pretty white....maybe the difference in color has to do with the brand...it looks FABULOUS anyway!!!! Hope you find a place for your desk!!

Well, Anne, in spite of your trials and tribulations, you ended up with a very pretty card! Your friend will love it!
