| I love wandering along the beach and often pick up things to take home. This project was inspired by this. The mini chipboard shelf was painted in acrylic blue paint with a white wash and then lightly sanded to get a worn wood finish and stamped with a flower in white ink at the top of the unit. Shell stamps used on shrink plastic with Stazon and coloured with alcohol ink on the reverse and sanded to round off the edges to give the effect of faux sea glass. A little clear gloss makes the shell seem like it is floating inside the tile. See second photo. http://www.mementoesintime.com/apps/...l-seeker-shelf |
