Have you had those days where you are just in a funk, and can't seem to think clearly much less create cards? Well, I've had two weeks. WOW! Thank goodness, Roxie, you had this wonderful sketch this week (SC296). Sure helped the juices start flowing.
I created this card for a very dear friend of mine who's son has gone into kidney failure. It makes no difference how young or old our children are, when they hurt - we hurt! So I just want her to know that I am praying for her, her family, and of course her son. The scripture on the inside is from Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (from ODBD Lift Up Our Hands stamp set).
I love this DP. The rectangle behind the main image is a collage of all the papers in this particular pack of K&Company DP. The DP on the square matches a section of the collage in the rectangle. I used a CB swiss dot EF for the background to tie in with the swiss dot portion in the collage. The praying hands is from ODBD "Lift Up Our Hands" stamp set. I used my heat gun on the ribbon to cause it to crinkle. I love that effect, but you have to be careful or you just shrivel it up to nothing
I know this card can't take the worry away that my friend is going through right now, but I hope knowing I care helps. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I always appreciate your comments.

A wonderful supportive caring card~I hope it brings some comfort to her and her son. You are so right about your children hurting~a mother would change places in a minute! TFS
