Phyllis didn't choose her screen name for nothing! Her gallery has plenty of sparkle, and luscious layers, and razzle dazzle! Phyllis is not an embellishment hoarder...she actually buys them and then USES them on a card! So I was inspired to do the same. I kept many of the same elements and colors as Phyllis like the red and yellow, a heart, bird, flowers, stripes, rick-rack border, then switched them all around. I actually used this crocheted flower that I have had for months! I only have TWO! At first I thought...but...but...What if I run out?!
Well, we're not thinking like that today, because this weekend is for Phyllis! Get out your good stuff! My card still looked plain, so I got out the paper-piercer! And my scalloped circle punch! And my Glossy Accents on the berries! And a rhinestone for the birdy's eye! The flower was boring so I added a heart shaped button WITH twine! SO liberating!!! And THREE PIECES of ribbon! This is a party, people!
So THANK YOU, Phyllis for donning the crown and taking the reigns! Your gallery is an excellent example of how to "embellish with relish" and make the most stunning cards in town!

Kelly, Thank you so much for all those kind words, I didn't know who you were talking about most of the time, because I have a tendecy to be a hoarder too!! Once in a while I jump off and just use something I have been saving for who knows what, I could afford to be a hoarder when I was young, but now that I am sooooo old (my 68th birthday was yesterday) I had better let loose of some of it, I can't take it with me. Although I am not planning on going anywhere just yet!! Your card is just precious and I love your little flower and that rick rack and that precious little birdie. Thanks for playing in the QFTD25. I am just having the most wonderful time seeing what is chosen in my gallery!! (You really chose one of my favorites, even though I really am not fond of those colors and lean more toward pinks! I just love that image!)

All your extra details resulted in a beauty of a card for Queen Phyllis. I love your colors and papers. And what can I saw about that darling bird--awesome. Love this pretty, pretty card.

I have missed your cards! This is so cute - I am so glad you used that flower - it goes so perfect with your image bg color. And of course, I love the heart button. Wonderful case.
