For Faith's Challenge, to use something rural on a card. I chose fresh strawberries...my first summer job was picking berries in the morning at a local farm. Can't remember what it was that I earned per quart or flat, but I remember making 60.00 a week and thinking that was sooo much (it is for a 13 year old!).
AND this is the FIRST card that I have ever used my sewing machine with...got it in December, and just threaded it last week-eeeeek! I think I still need some practice!

Kelly, this is just super sweet! Your strawberries look good enough to eat! hehe LOVE your stitching, unless of course you were trying to do a "straight" stitch. ...again hehe. Wonderful bright fun colors. LOVE this. TFS :0)

Too funny! This was my story for Annie Panda's post:
When I was in 7th and 8th grade in early summer, we would ride a school bus out to nearby strawberry farms to pick berries and were paid by the flat. It was much better money than babysitting!
