I also tried to use colors from the Color Challenge: Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, and Baja Breeze (I only have Baja Breeze so I had to fudge a bit on the other two colors).
I made this card yesterday, but debated loading it because my leaf is so weird. I used crackle paint on it, but I thought it was a translucent paint so instead of my green leaf, I have a leaf that looks dead or looks like I put calamine lotion on it. IRL it looks a little better than this picture - actually it just looks super interesting. My DD said she liked it, so I am loading it. Besides, I used MMSC10 to do it, and I want to knock out another of them on my way to finish them all

Lovely card, Nancy! So many wonderful and different elements - but I think I love the focal image of the bird and the word Hope best of all! Great details!
I am so glad that you added this to the gallery. I love the beautiful bird and the pearls are gorgeous. The flourishes in the corner are perfect embellishments. Beautiful card.

Nancy I was looking at you card and was thinking how much I loved this layout....reading it was MMSC10-now that was a hoot!!! No wonder I love it...ahahaha. This is just delightful. I really like the leaf-it adds a natural element to the scene which is interesting and adds texture. I love this card and can tell lots of thought went into creating it Great job with the sketch!!!

Pretty! I like the sponging you did on the main focal piece, and I certainly can't tell that you didn't use the 'official' colors of the color challenge.
