TLC284 - Plaid Note

This is my card for Technique Lovers Challenge 284. I was not even going to try as I thought I couldn't do it, but I tried and I have no throw a ways. I can't believe it.

Stamped BG with Well Worn Words in StazOn Olive Green with a brayer, and I think maybe I should have done the plaid on that stamp as it didn't come out very recognizable. LOL Then I chose Pick A Petal - the solid petal for my flower. Stamped Ranger Distressed Faded Jean first, then did the plaid with Frayed Burlap and Peeled Paint. You KNOW I love those inks because of their names. (smile)

The center is yet another earring from Wal-Mart and the note is computer generated and punched. I'm pleased. Thanks for looking.

This is AWESOME!!!! I love the colors of your flower, and that beautiful Earring?!!! What a cool concept that is. I will now have to examine earrings for some unique looking brad like things. Great card!! The bg paper is really neat too. You scored girl!!

Wow - I've never ever used this stamp set, but your card is gonna be the one to change that. I really like this!! Oh - I've never gotten Well Worn Words to work well either... and although I don't have any of those ink pads you mentioned, I like the names too! TFS

Whoa...your plaid technique turned out FABULOUS on that pretty flower!!!!! Love the awesome earring, too!!! Now ya know you undoubtly caused a run on every Wal-Mart store in the country when all the stampers on Splitcoast see this beauty!!!
