This is just a little something I was playing with today. It is a freebie from Fred She Said and can be found over at CDAC. (More info on my blog).
It says on the outside: Not a "Peep" from you
On the inside: What's happening at your Coop Chickie?
printed out my digi and used some yellow colorbox ink by sponging around the ages. Then I took some darker color yellow chalk and just did little smooches of it on the edges. It works great when you ink is a little wet. It just sticks to it. I then used a little pink for his cheeks.
The punches and die cuts:
Spellbinders -Lacy Border Punch
Spellbinders lrg Oval and scallop Oval
Spellbinders round and scallop round
Martha Stewart Modern Gardent PATP
Martha Stewart Deep Edge Floral Vine
Martha Stewart Chick Scene Border Punch
Sizzx Leaf die cut
Marvy flower punch
Cuttlebug flower strip embossing folder
Paper is from K & Company
Thanks for looking. I hope you have gained some inspiration to try this very cute chick!!!

So, Bearzi, are we skipping ahead from Christmas to Easter already? What's next--4th of July cards for 2011??? Just kidding!!! This is adorable. Thanks for describing how you colored your cute chickie. I think that sounds like a great method, but never would have thought of it myself. Now I'll have to try it!! And your MS chick border is PERFECT for this

Look at that cute, rosy-cheeked, chick! (Whew! That was a mouth full). What a most darling card and I love that chick scene punch. Well, I am sure you know I love all of them. Lovely flowers with all the sparkle. Outstanding job, as usual!
