So, I began the hunt for the perfect paper - found it, cut it and had that "ugh" moment - I wanted the stripes to go up and down and have this gorgeous tall and skinny bag and what I got was a gorgeous plump bag - oh well that's what I get for staying up to late.
I made a ton of these for a Christmas bazaar last year and they were a big hit, especially since they had goodies in them.

OMGoodness - this is PERFECT just the way it is!!! To someone who never saw the verticle-striped version I must tell you - I would not change a thing. Love every detail down to the punched borders and wonderful ribbon. This is amazing!

This is adorable! I love your version of the box in a bag and the stripes going sideways looks perfect to me! I found the tutorial here and must give it a try! Thanks for the inspiration!
