This week StampinB's challenge was Summer Vacation. For me, reading peacefully on a beach is the best kind of vacation to have. I found a picture on google of a woman reading on the beach. Cut the small square of her out. Then I water colored the scene around her to match up with the picture. Bumped the picture up, made an umbrella out of a Michael's coaster, and added a sentiment.

Thank you for your kind comment. After the water colors dried both the sand and ocean already had different shades which gave them dimension. I highlighted the ocean by using a white gel pen and the posh impressions sand stamp in antique linen on the sand portion of the card.

Oh yes, this is for sure a summer vacation card. And, you are so clever making that cute, dotted umbrella from a coaster and the toothpick is perfect. I love this creation and glad you played with the 'B's this week.
