This is my card for the first week of the VLV July challenges. I was mostly inspired by the shower curtain in picture 2 as after just using the "Taj Mahal" papers on another card, I realized that one of the papers in the pack was really similar to the pattern in the curtain. I pulled 2 other papers that would work for the 2 background panels also from the "Taj Mahal" stack. The sentiment is from Verve's set "Beautiful You" and the border is from Verve's set "Thankful Accents." I mounted the sentiment separately from the border as it was just a tiny bit too big to fit inside and some of the text was lost in the border design. This is one of the great things about Verve stamps is that they are so interchangeable and the sets work well together. For the small circle in the sketch, I decided to add some flowers so that I could work in some green from the inspiration photo by using a MS leaf punch. I filled in the open areas of Fun is Good using a marker. The card is quite bright IRL from the gold foil in the papers and some gold glitter that's on the circle paper on the right hand side. I think it fits with the sentiment though! TFL!
