Had to make an anniversary card for a sweet friend. She said she married him for his talent in the.......kitchen!!! Proof positive with the hamburger in her hand while taking the official picture to capture the moment!!! I see why she tried to set me up with a guy with PINK shoes since her better half wears pink too!!! Can you guess who this lucky couple might be!!! We all love her and her wild and crazy stories. Ok....one more hint....her initials are Annie Jo Ryan!!!
Hugs to you my friend. Hope you enjoy the card and the humor that goes with it.

Okay, that little write-up was good for my second belly-laugh of the day. My first was over in your sister's gallery when I saw her 'pile'o'faux-poo'. I was totally thinking this fantastic creation might be for AJR and when you shared the 'initials' of the recipient, that provided all the proof I needed. Love his pink shoes. And her polka-dotted pockets and the fancy frill on that designer dress are 'la piece-de-la-resistance'! And the juicy hamburger. Got your shovel handy? You might be digging your way out of that hole... Have a good one!

Yes, it's absolutely true! I married him for his kitchen talents. Do you honestly think I'm gonna let some guy get away that will smother me with diamonds, gold, doing the grocery shopping and cooking? I would have needed to have my head examined if I had allowed such a thing like that to happen. But just think how happy he must be! Since I actually have this card in my hands, I can attest to how fabulous and fun this card is! Thank you so much for remembering. You are such a sweet person if I could just overlook your age!

As soon as I saw this card in the gallery - I just knew it that was Annie- Jo and her poor , dear long suffering husband!!! What this - there 65th anniversary? I think Anne is close to 100 years old or so - as is John. I wonder just how old that the avatar is - or indeed - perhaps that avatar is Anne's daughter!! Ahaha!! Yes - I think I'm onto it!!
Connie - Jo - thanks ever so much for sending my QFTD card - it is in my gallery with a proper thank you! I've been cleaning my stamp room........... sigh!!!! Hugs!!

Boy, that Anne changes in every picture I see of her! Some times she looks older, sometimes a bit healthy, sometimes her hair is wild, and sometimes she has some rather large jewelry,....... Well, there are worse reasons to marry a man than his culinary talents! That hamburger looks Yummo! Great card for Anne's anniversary - love the image and that checked paper.

I missed this earlier. It is just too cute. I can understand choosing a man for his culinary talents. I said I picked mine for his willingness to do dishes - just as important in my mind!
This has so much going for it - I will just say I really like it a lot!
