Rebekah's challenge encourages us to reach out and try something new. I had just seen a Z-fold card, so I had already scored and folded this cs. I have been dying to try Black Magic, so I had also stamped this with White Kraft ink. So, for this challenge I did the coloring and work with the white gel pen and created the center panel For the center, I inked up the same stem with SU markers, stamping off once. I stamped, cut out and popped up the Orchid butterfly for the finishing touch.
The thing that took the longest was the white touches with the gel pen. It seems like the pen doesn't want to work well when it's coated with watercolor pencil. Other than that, it went pretty fast. I already had the oval panel cut and embossed.
Thanks again for stopping by to view my work. I do hope Karen Barber is around to see what she inspired.

Great work on a new technique!!! It turned out wonderfully!!! I love the colors, and the sentiment fits so perfectly inside the oval. Thanks for playing along with us this VSN!!

2 more techniques to add to my gotta try them soon list. You did a great job, that is a cool fold and the flowers just jump off the paper.
