I love to paint. I use to tole paint on wood for many years. At the end I had started to paint on tile and w/c paper. So today's challenge was right up my alley.......details....
On w/c paper I stamped my image using versa mark then I eb with gold. This reminds me of faux cloisonne where you stamp on a magazine page using the gold only here you color with whatever. I would call this faux faux closisonne. hehe
I colored my image with acrylic paints. It works just like re-inkers. I put a dab of paint on my pallet paper take a wet brush and dip it in the paint and work it around a little then color. Adjust the darkness or lightness by adding more water. Easy peasy.
Cut the image panel out and ran a gold leaf pen around the edges then layered with black cs.
Cut a panel of Graphic 45 dp, I think this paper is starting to talk to me just like it does to Anne Ryan! hehe Then I sponged the edges with a sponged dipped in paint.
Put all this on a kraft card that I splattered acrylic paint on using a toothbrush and sponged the edges as well. Added three gold pearls.
Made a gold butterfly by stamping two Judith stub hearts, points touching, using versa mark then gold ep. Popped it up and added the antlers....do butterflies have antlers? hmmmm can't remember what those things are called. Guess I'm having a "blonde" moment.
Well had so much fun making this card. Totally relaxed me!.....hope you like it......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Did I tell you about the lighting and thunder I heard and saw while cleaning a pool? Pretty scary!

This is so pretty. Thank you for explaining how you did it ... I have a ton of those acrylic paints I need to pull them out and use them!
Your card has such great colors and yeah, that background would call to me too!
