This card is for this week's CAS challenge of a summer-themed card, which also serves as the 2nd challenge for the CAS DT Search.
Nothing says summer like your feet in the waves while relaxing in a beach chair reading a book, right? I stamped the two Rubber Soul Adirondack chairs and the My Favorite Things sentiment onto PTI Kraft. I then used blue and cream thread in my sewing machine for the waves lapping the shore. As a final touch, I sponged PTI fresh snow around the edges to give it that weather-beaten summertime look.
I'd also like to take this time to suggest visiting any part of the Gulf Coast this summer. Reports are still clear for many of the beaches, and even if the beaches are closed, there are always some good local restaurant and shops to visit.
