Batman's been SO busy taking care of his elderly aunt. Ms. Felisha Batisha is 42,000 years old and frankly my dear, she's been driving Batman a little batty. To top it off, Alfred, Batman's trusty butler and assistant caregiver up and retired! Lucky for Batman, along came a rather distinguished gentleman looking for employment. Batman hired Rob (an out of work former interior designer) on the spot, and Hocus Pocus (oops that's so last week) ZAP! POW! ZOWIE! Rob has remodeled the batcave into a lovely, fragrant, cozy hole in the wall. He even transformed Gregory the Guard Bat into a satin bow so as not to frighten Aunt Felicia. Just in time too, as Felisha's sister, Aunt BeBatrice is arriving soon to check up on things. Not to worry... Rob is standing at the batcave entrance, ready to offer a spot of iced tea, slightly spiked to enhance the inspection.
If you think I've gone batty (and you might be right), you can get the rest of the story at the Teapot Tuesday challenge post.
Rob was a coloring page I downloaded. He was colored with Copics, cut out and glued to an embossed layer of black cardstock. The flowers were first painted with craft white ink, using a blender pen, then painted with azure Smooch. The stems, batcave and grass were colored with Prismacolor pencils, and the centers of the flowers hit with a dot of yellow Stickles.

Wow, that is one cool cave. Even I wouldn't mind spending some time in there. Your blue flowers are fantastic, and I hope that whatever drinks Rob is offering are worth having. I'm just a tad suspicious that all these ultra-longlived bats must have some vampire blood in there.

Hey Hildagirl....wassup? I was trying to get some bat that splatted against the bat cave wall cleaned up and somebody said Rob was sharing drinks! That's Rob? I heard he was weathly, like millionaire wealthy.....so I was hoping to hook up with him for dinner and then a cashier's check or two...but he looks a might frumpy and he has a goofy smile...so maybe Christian Bale has bucks! If you would just pay me my $42,000 I would not have to worry about finding a rich Batman!
You downloaded a coloring page! Brilliant! This is such a precious card and since our work is done, lets go see if we can find some treats! I love your dark...mysterious cave......its so inviting! Snort!
Hey, you made me feel good....and Bertie too.....we get challenges and stories and all kinda stuff mixed up each week! It must be because YOU GUYS are gettin' old! Snort!

Call me weird, but your batcave looks so inviting to me! I just LOVE your card, but then black is my FAV color! The butler looks so sweet too, what with ice tea to offer at the entrance, this cave must be somewhere in the south?

Wow, what a great card! I love the batcave all decorated by Rob! And I love that he has the iced tea (slightly spiked) at the ready! Aunt BeBatrice is going to be bowled over by all this hospitality!!

Methinks Rob may have tried out a bit of that special tea - but he does add a bit of class to this Tuesday. Should be a mighty sweet cave, from the looks of the gallery today!
You have a great idea here, and an equally great result.
