Wow! These sites just get harder and harder to make a choice. This is my card for IC231 which was to be inspired by the Huset website. I was inspired many times over, but finally decided on this one.
My shoe image is Victorine Originals. The fine detail on this image is amazing even with gold embossing.
First layer is gold CS, then purple CS from Imagine That and then some off white from the office supply store. That's in my closet, you know. LOL
I stamped the image with VersaMark and embossed it with Tarnished Gold. By then I was thinking I had the wrong idea because of all the bare space, so I started filling in the space. Two purple punched flowers punched with my Fiskars Flower punch. I cut out part of some vintage lace and glued it on and I thought it needed a purple flower jewel. Still too bare, so I tied it all up with some purple embroidery thread. End of story.
Now I'm in trouble because I did the card first and the chores are still waiting. Thanks for looking.

Oh boy- it does get more difficult to choose, doesn't it? Carol, this is a gorgeous piece of art! So vintage. I love that shoe and the wonderful fibers woven around your image, de-lightful!

I love your gold embossed shoe - the whole card is very "royal"! And what a lovely flower from your lace. I too did my card first and then had to face my chores!
