Paper Sundae has a challenge this week to use 3 patterned papers, 2 solids, and a flower. Fits quite perfectly with my theme of making my own flower embellishments from paper using my Cricut. I created my own Sure Cuts a Lot file to cut an Iris flower from paper - it has three petal layers cut from patterned paper and the center of the flower petals are cut from solid color paper. I used patterned paper for the flower petals, the leafs, and the base of the card. The solid cream and maroon papers were cut with the Cricut Storybook cartridge. The leaf was cut with the Home Decor Cricut Solutions cartridge.
