This week's Teapot Extravaganza involves taking rap lessons from the new rap sensation: Frizzle Da Dizzle, and we are to bring our Teapot Sizzle or something like that. I have to tell you, with 42,000 rap fans at the farm, I am so confused! (BTW - if you want to learn more about the Teapot Tuesday Challenge - go here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers to learn more - but beware - this challenge is addicting).
Meanwhile, at the farm next door, Stan and Chrisanne, are having a lot of trouble with their yung uns, or at least one of them anyway. Seems that little Curly thinks he is going to be a big rap star. He has even started dressing like Frizzle. His brothers and sisters think he has lost it - what self-respecting boy chicken purposely wears polka dots anyway? His parents have put little Curly on restriction and forbidden him from going next door. I just overheard Chrisanne tell him, "You are right where you should be" young man! Sounds like she has seen the new Ippity sentiment!
Anyway, I better run, it is my turn to man the teapot counter. These 42,000 fans are drinking a lot of tea (they all heard that Frizzle drinks nothing but tea so now it is all the rage), and the teapotters had to step in and help brew just to avoid another almost riot situation.
While we on the subject of advice, Gertie, I am not sure the farm life is for you and most rappers don't make good husband or boyfriend material. My advice to you is to not get too involved with either man!
PS to PS - thanks for the straw and the ribbon!

Christine and Stan should realize it is "just a phase." Wait until next week and it will be something different, literally!
Love the ribbon treatment with the straw.

Yo! Yo! Nancy! Wassup???
Woulda been here earlier but Muddermark would not let me sign in on my own so I had to wait for her to get home from work! Stinkin' Muddermark!!!
Thanks for the amazing advice! I have been frazzled and frizzled, dizzled and dazzled, sizzled and sazzled to no end trying to make a decision. Muddermark told me i might get myself in trouble over men! Maybe I will scrap this whole idea and jump into my training once again, try out for the Evian Water Babies and call it good! Yeah, that's what I will do...
No follow me back to Stan and Chrissanne's....got save a little wayword soul dressed in black and white polka dots! So glad you could come and set me straight!
Muddermark says hi! She loves your cards, she's told me so! She says this one is da bomb...and I agree! What a perfect little scene you created for this challenge! Woot!

Oh my, I just LOVE this. The straw and ribbon for the rustic feel. Stan and Chrisanne and their brood - and most of all that adorable little Curly. I want to put him in my pocket and take him home with me, I love him. I've been going through photos recently, and he reminds me of some of the photos from Easter camps, where kids are going through their rebellious teen phases. Into my Favourites with this .

Your card and story are both just DELIGHTFUL! Gotta love Curly with his polka-dots! Love the black and white checks too, even on your "U"! Also love the red and tan plaid ribbon and how you repeated this in "should". GREAT design, layout, scene, and sentiment!
