This week was my week to provide the Twisted Sistah Challenge (TSC). Thank you all for playing along. ANY ONE is welcome to join us.
For this card, I used a clear cling stamp set from Hobby Lobby (I think). I got it because of the rain boots that reminded me of the ones I had as a kid.
Using CS from the Far East pack, I stamped the rain drops diagonally to give it some movement and then added some faint dashes with a gray marker. Stamped the rain boots with Brick Red Distress Ink and then VersaMark Ink onto white water color paper. Embossed with clear EP. Before I embossed, I added some gray shading with a Copic and a little background shadow. Ran the image through the CB using a nestie die. Found a scrap of darker grey and ran that through too. Added some left over bling to the corners.
I love rainy, grey days. I either get real industrious or curl up with a good book! After the 3 years we have had living in a drought situation, it is SO wonderful to see wildflowers in abundance, all the local lakes are full and everything is green and growing. God is good. Happy Good Friday. Safe and Blessed Easter.

Oh this is perfect! Love the rainboots and that they have sentimental value, and the raindrops in the bg are so great. Love the bling as well. Fabulous! Thanks for inviting us all to play along, I had fun.

Such a cute card and I love the pink polka dotted boots. *grin* Isn't it funny how we gravitate to things that remind of us our childhood? Good memories. Happy you have water and purty flowers. Thanks, for a great challenge and for being brave enough to use pink.

Awww Phyllis, what a neat pair of boots! Love the rain in the background also. Love your challenge, because it is really hard for me to enjoy rain, though I know we need it! You make me think it's okay...so I'm getting there. LOL Hugs and thanks for the challenge and pretty boots.

I am glad all this rain is helping someone and someone is enjoying it. I can remember a few years ago we prayed for rain as we were in a drought too - now we have way too much. Our pastureland is now a swamp! At least our ducks are super happy!
I love your challenge and your card is so cool. My DD loves rain boots and she loves polka dotted ones especially - I cant wait to show her this card. TFS!

Hi Tater - this is delightful - I love these gumboots - I would say we all have memories of them and this is perfect. Your upside down rain seems right to me as it fall to the goound here 'down under' so it would have to fall that way for you all the way up there! LOL! Love it Tater - great challenge!! I posted my card last night! Thanks for sharing! {{{hugs}}}
