Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
I wanted to use this sentiment today, as I have been told that it is something I say ALL THE TIME! I say it as a sweet comment. I say it as a sarcastic comment. I say it as an enthusiastic comment. And, of course, I use it as a sign of defeat. "Wonderful!" "Wonderful...." "Wonderful!!!!" "Wonderful" *insert heavy sign here.
Well, last night was a defeated "wonderful." Scout ATTACKED our precious YumYum. She walked too close to his pillow and he went insane. There was blood. I thought, "OMGosh! He's going to KILL HER!" I got into the middle of this, grabbed my sweet little Yummy and ran for the bathroom where I locked us in while Scout went bonkers at the door. Blood was all over her beautiful coat. She was shaking, and I was screaming at the dog. I began to search for the wounds and soon realized that Yummy was NOT bleeding..."WONDERFUL!" I was elated! Then..."Wonderful." I thought sarcastically. "Scout is the bloody one!" I opened the door, Yummy ran out and HISSED at the then snarling dog. I dragged Scout into the bathroom and calmed him. I finally realized that Yummy had snagged his nose. "Wonderful!" I thought, I can clean this and put on some Neosporan! I did just that and released him from the bathroom. Then, he ran out and started acting like a maniac, and cornered Speedy the Cat. Well, folks, that was the final sighed "Wonderful." Scout is now PERMANENTLY an outside dog.
So, I decided that a hummingbird, with WONDERFUL would be the uplifting card I would make today. I stamped the hummer in Pitch Black, cut him out and sponged on Boudoir Blush, Lavender Sachet and Waterlily Green. I used papers from two different Premium Paper Packs, and added in a charm, metallic half pearls and a premium paper flower.
Finished size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

"Wonderful" (as a comment) card! It is definitely cheerful & the colors are lovely. Sorry to hear about the animal woes! One animal (Duchess the dog) is enough for me!
