Hi! This card was made for today's Stampin' B's Challenge to use turquoise, green and white on a card and today's Ways To Use It Challenge to use diagonals on a card.
First, I'd like to thank all my very kind cyber friends for all the emails and PM's about my where abouts. It's funny, I did Friday's Challenge, and then we had LOTS going on at work, and then family get togethers, and then we ended up working into the night on Easter! I was horrorfied that I worked that many hours...And, with Markie, my dad, and the puppy! Then, we headed down to the Cape to see the shuttle lift off on Monday. (We left the house at 2:40AM!) We got to meet up with Lois (Clownmom) and Jeanne (jaforsyth) for a mini coloring class in Mims. Then, we headed back to J-ville. I decided to lay down on the couch and woke up the NEXT AFTERNOON!!!! And, Markie, bless him, took care of all the animals, including his new pup! Then, on Wednesday, I had to make up for all the work I had missed on Monday and Tuesday! So, that's where I've been.
The background was made by scoring one piece of double sided dp on the diagonal at 1" intervals. I cut the dp on the score lines and adhered it to the Lime Squeeze base.
The images were stamped in Espresso. The background was colored in with Memento Markers. The frog was cut out and sponged in with Nick Bantock inks.
Finished size: 5 1/2" square
Total time to complete: under 40 minutes

A very pretty card Faith!!! I love the colors. I like all of your little dragonflies on there also. I hope you enjoyed your color class. It's nice to see you back. I bet Markie is a champ with the animals. :>)
