I am so late celebrating our current Queen for the day - the one and only Pat Smethers! I am so sorry Pat - I have tried every day to make my card and post it, but you know how it is...life happens!!
I cased this card of Pat's: ~For Lisa~ by patsmethers at Splitcoaststampers
and Pat, I love the elegance of your card and all that gorgeous white embossing - I am not sure what happens when I do it but - I don't like it - the white calls me and calls me until I have to obey it's call of 'fill me...'
I did stay true to your card Pat, although I used a Layers of Color image: http://www.layersofcolor.com/blog/
from the Merci Bouquet art stamp set. I coloured with SU Chalks and then painted on some Pearl Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, just on the leaves - spraying would have been too much - I do love the Glimmer Mists and need to use them more!
The only thing I changed was the fact that I added the Vintage Corners - I could not help myself, I was tempted to photograph it and then add them, but I thought no - I will do the right thing and show you the proper card!
Pat, what a fitting choice you are for Queen of the Day - you are such a darling to us all. Your big heart just brings you alongside the new ones in the galleries and you make us all feel so loved! I love your Ay Yi Yi's and your 'Oh Sistah's' you are a loving heart and such a shining light with your faith - you Pat, are one of those people who don't just 'talk the talk' but you 'walk the walk!' When I grow up I want to be Pat Smethers, stamper, sistah and friend!!
Pat, if we don't meet in this lifetime, we certainly will in the next - now...remember I will be the one with the Cuttlebug - you bring the folders and the Dies!! LOL! I hope I am sitting at the same table as you at the "Banquet!' Love you my friend and sistah, I am so blessed that you linked arms with me! LYMIMIMIMIMI IRL!!! {{{hugs}}}

Oh Sistah! Ai yi yi! Gorgeous in every detail! Linda, your work is gorgeous, (and I love that your cards speak to you to tell them what they need!) Shoulda known that! Your gallery is full of works of heart, and I love what you have done with this one. Your pink framing is beautiful- and so very "Lovely Linda"! Thank you so much for your wonderful card, and your endearing words. I will certainly meet you at the banquet (but secretly hoping the lolly jar fills with $ in the mean time!). Thank you for sharing your faith and your friendship with my family. You are dear to all of us, but especially me! Love you!

Linda, we chose the same card to case from Pat's gallery. I'm going to upload mine later. I chose this one because I've been stumped trying to make one of her masculine cards which is what I really want to do. But, to get it in before Friday, I cased the same one you did. I'm still going to try out one of her masculine cards though. Your creations is BEAUTIFUL Linda. LOVE the white space, the beautifully colored flower and your vintage die cut corners. It turned out LOVELY!!! TFS!!
