Come join the fun and creative challenge! There is a more CAS version of the sketch to choose if you aren't into doing lots of layers and details. And, you have the possibility of winning prizes!!
Priscilla came up with a real challenge this week, at least for me anyway. The corset design part of the card is what got me. I rarely use eyelets any more, even though I have tons of them, as they're kind of a pain. But, with my Crop-A-Dile, it turned out to be pretty easy. I couldn't figure out the threading for awhile - give me a break, I have 2 boys and don't sew, so what do you expect? Last time Priscilla pulled one of these on me, I chickened out; but, this time I was determined to be brave!!! All in all, I have to say that Priscilla's designs usually end up making interesting and more detailed cards than I would normally make.
I used the SU Sending Love DSP paired with chocolate chip and pretty in pink. I adhered layers per the sketch, punched in all my eyelet holes and secured them, then ran ribbon in a criss-cross pattern up and down.
I thought this would be a pretty Mother's Day card for my Mom since it's very feminine and a little fancier than normal.
I used my MS medallion and chrysanthemum punches for the featured spot and added a large jewelry piece I found at Michael's awhile back. I thought it kept in theme of the overall card.
Added ribbon treatment to the corner matching the corset ribbon at the bottom, some pearls and my sentiment.
The 1st layer, 2nd layer, image mat, flower punch and jewel were all popped up on dimensionals.
Thanks for listening to my rambling and have a wonderful week!!

Hey Pamzie...I am counting 6 possible punches/Die Cuts on this gorgeous card...am I close???? Could we actually count the "crop-a-dile" as a punch as it does make holes...LOL You have done the Punchkateers proud my friend!!! Now don't try to fool us into thinking you don't know how to do the lacing...I too have boys and have tied many a shoe lace in my days....or did you opt for the Velcro closure sneakers!!! LOL It does appear by the perfectly crissed-crossed pattern you have laced and tied many a sneaker!!! Now isn't that your belly button jewel from those belly dancing classes you have been taking??? You are so full of surprises!!
I am sure your Mom is going to love this fabulous card. It is so very feminine and flirty filled with wonderful color, paper, and embellishments. So captivating and incredibly delightful. How fabulous. Thanks for playing along with us at the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.

That is one MAHVELOUS Mum's Day card, Pam!! Wow, that lacing (and not just one set, but two!) is outstanding. What lovely color choices, too. Your jewel looks even more impressive layered on top of those two wonderful paper punches, Ms. Punchkateer!! Thanks for this fun eye candy, Pam

La, la, la, la..OMG, Pam, you are really getting it on with this one. Corset and all! This is awesome and I love that big chunk of a gemstone. Now, let's see, how many punches did you use? I saw your comment to Bearzi about trying to oust me as Prez...won't work. Here I am bragging on your card and you're off over there doing me in. LOL Just the same, your card is absolutely stunning.

Pam, your card is gorgeous. You have those eyelets lined up like little soilders, not an easy task!! Love the femine colors and that faceted stone in the middle is beautiful. Your Mom is going to love this card, and even more so because you make it especially for her. Thanks for sharing it with us this week for the MMSC. Perfect take on the sketch.

Oh my giddy aunt Pam - this is amazing - I love it and I am with Priscilla - this would be one of my favourites of yours as well - you are so talented and always give your cards your own flavour!! Gorgeous lacing Pam and that jewel is DIVINE! It would have been a shame to waste it in your navel - that wa nearly too much info for 'shy little me!' LOL! Thank you for playing along with us at the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week, we appreciate your support and love to visit with you! We look forward to seeing you next week! {{{hugs}}}
