I was inspired by the Taffy Apple Rose for my card, I like the zebra look and used the red for my background but toned the color down a bit.
-The background is done using alcohol inks. I first cut a piece of felt with Nestabilites circle die, inked it up with butterscotch and placed on the card and did a little twist with it. The remainder of the panel is inked using the polished stone technique with two colors; cranberry and currant.
-The zebra pair image is stamped colored with Prismacolor pencils, cut out and attached to the panel with glue and tape.
-The tree image over the circle is a partial image that I stamped upside down and using a stamp positioner for placement.
-The outside border of yellow came about by using up some scraps. First the wider border (3 /32”) was inked up, cut from corner to corner and attached. I then repeated with a second smaller scrap and kept the border at 1/16”. To keep this panel level I attached some scrap strips even with the smaller scrap and placed tape only on those pieces for attaching to the card base.
-The inside of the card was stamped with the grey on the left lower corner as you see it on the envelope.
Tools: felt and applicator, cutting scissors, stamp positioner, paper stumps

Not sure I have a word to describe how beautiful this is... How about MAGICAL!! The background is more than amazing, the felt piece is brilliant, the zebras are wonderfully colored - and your "scraps" are just another detail that adds to the magic. You are sooo talented!
