Alrighty...this is my second attempt at making a card following the challenge guidelines for this month's Hogs & Sketches challenge, hosted by Hambo Stamps. I uploaded my first attempt yesterday, but then realized I had forgotten to use paper piecing! DRAT! It's really OK - this gives me another good excuse to use a Wee Henrietta digi image! :0)
The color scheme we are to use is red and purple...and we are to use an A2 size card, dew drops and paper piecing. Hopefully I have it all covered this time! I colored my dew drops a deep red and a deep purple color by roughing up the under-side with sandpaper and then coloring them with my Prismacolor marker. Custom dew drops - a good thing! :-D
I hope you'll play along, too! Here is a link to the challenge blog, so you can read the scoop about this month's challenge - it is usually a sketch, but this month it is a little different. :0) http://hogsandsketches.blogspot.com/
And here is a link to Hambo Stamps' digi images - there is a freebie one that you can try before you buy! #And you can use the freebie to enter the challenge if you don't own any Hambo Stamps!# http://www.hambostamps.com/digitalstamps.htm

You're so getting this colour combo Michelle. I was going through my gallery and saw that smiling face of yours and thought to come and say hello, and leave some love for your. This is not an easy colour combo, but you made it work. The image is so sweet. TFS Michelle, hugs my friendxo
