What an interesting site Anne chose for the IC. I admit, I had this card finished but when I saw this Mini Clover Letter set I knew it was a great match. Just to be on the safe side, I'll do another one tomorrow. Wouldn't want the challenge police to ticket me for speeding, lol.
For my background, I drew a simple grid with a black sharpie, then drew over the lines with a couple of green water based markers and a blender to spread out the color. I stamped the Hatfull of Shamrocks twice, colored them with markers and cut out some of the shamrocks and attached them onto the base image for a little dimension. I cut a buckle out of a scrap of metallic gold and attached it. The white Labels 2 die cut layer was sponged w/ the green and yellow inks while the die was still in place.
The clover sprigs were also colored and cut out. I die cut three solid hearts out of a sheet of glitter foam and arranged them behind the clover sprig. The greeting was stamped twice (so I could split it), the corners rounded and then edged with markers.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.or the DRS blog.

This is awesome! I did a clover card too, great minds think alike! I the grid you created and your clovers are fantastic. I was trying to see if we used the same inspiration piece but I didn't see it listed in your description. Oh btw, I think I may be getting that ticket in the mail (giggle)!

Julie, this is AMAZING. LOVE all the fresh green and the wonderful ways your creativity is working all over this FUN piece of art. Great grid design and I'm so impressed with that fantastic glittered clover and that you had all the stuff to create it!!! Your buckle is a perfect addition and I love how you separated that sentiment and perfectly placed it for the finishing touch.

Awesome card...I love how you outlined the sentiments to go with the grid and I think I can see shamrocks are also stamped on the inside...love that too.
