Our DD is getting married in April, and these are the invitations for the shower. I made 25 of them!!!
I cut the dresses with my Cricut and the Sweethearts cartridge. The skirt portion was embossed with the Victoria Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, then the extra skirt layer was cut out of vellum and embossed with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. The front panels were also embossed with the Swiss Dots. I used a pearl (from a string of them) 'button' over the seam. The Top Note die was used to cut pink Bazzill card stock for the coloured panel.
The inside text panel was done on white, with black text and pink swirls, with a pink bridal flower attached to the bottom corner. These are the same flowers we used on her invitations. The text panel was attached inside over a slightly larger grey panel, and the one side of the envlope was embossed with the Victoria embossing folder.
Did I mention I made TWENTY FIVE of these??? ;-)

Oh, this is so pretty Karen! Your daughter must be so happy with these! I love the dress with the vellum panels - and I like the envelope you embossed too! I hope everything goes smoothly in the run-up to the wedding! (Our DD gets married in August, so I'll be doing the invitations!)
