For two challenges today: LSC - ribbon and border punches, and the RESQ33 challenge - You are what you eat!
Naturally I chose cherries (they are RED, aren't they???). I love them in pies, in chocolates, fresh at the grocer's, cherry flavored drinks, jello, gummies, life savers, you name it.
I made my own cherries for this card. This was a real labor of love to do this at my desk instead of going to my pantry (DH gave me BOXES of chocolate covered cherries for Valentine's Day!) and helping myself to the wonderful candy I was salivating over. I hope you appreciate what a hardship this was for me!!!!!! LOL!

Yum yum, they look good enough to eat. I like fresh cherries, not so keen on some of the more artificial cherry-flavour foods. But it's hard to get nice ripe cherries here. We just have the wrong climate for a lot of fresh fruit, alas.

Super job on both the cherries and the restraint! Your DH sounds like an amazing guy. How cool to have cherry ribbon and I love how you did the edge, love it!

So now go reward yourself for the hardship it was!!! LOL If anyone could do a gorgeous cherry card I would have to pick you Miss Red Diva! Love that scalloped border (I still can`t make this come out for me :-( And leave it to you to have the perfect matching ribbon. Love it! TFS!!
