This week's challenge over at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot is all about stitching!!! For my card today, I used both sides of a piece of K&Co designer paper. I simply used my piercing tool to place holes along the stems and flowers design on the paper. Then I used DMC floss to do my stitching. A long time ago, before scrapbooking and cardmaking took control of my life, I did quite a bit of cross stitching and embroidery so I have lots of floss that I haven't used in years! I cut out several other flowers so that I could layer them for dimension. The flower centers are french knots! That was always one of my favorite things in embroidery!!! I love the sweet homespun look that stitching gives to a project. Can you believe I didn't use any stamps for this card? Anyway, come join us, we would love to have you! Have a great Wednesday!!!

K&Co designer paper
