This is my first attempt at being brave enough to try to upload a card. A friend recommended checking out splitcoast and I have been delighted with all the advice, knowledge, talent and creativity that I have been priviliged to view on this site. I would like to thank each and every one of you that shares so generously of your time and talent and enables people like me to learn and become inspired. I made this one for my mom's birthday. She loves birds so I thought I would incorporate a bird on her card. I stamped the design twice, embossed the second image with clear embossing powder and then cut out the robin and leaf and popped them up over the original image. I think that it meets all the requirements of the challenge. Thanks for looking and any ideas that you have for me would be greatly welcomed.

I love your card. The robin is an all year round bird in Ohio, so it's use is appropiate any time of the year. Your lay out was very appealing. I loved your choice of colors. Last, but certainly not least, I thought your skill on painting the robin was exceptional. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Love your choice of colours, and the texture from the embossing folder. The North American robins are so different to ours over here - but I like any card with birds on it . Fantastic photo, too - perfect staging for your robin.
Keep on sharing now you've jumped in.
