THis card is for this weeks Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/
I look forward to the new sketch each week. I thought I would do something different this week and made a MASCULINE card - I am always short of these and this weeks sketch seemed to work well with the 'dreaded' man card! I love this image that I received in a RAK from my Australian Stamping Friend Jocelyn (JoBear2) - my kids would all like a car like this - very K-O-O-L!!
The image is coloured with Chalks and a Blender Pen, I have added Dimensional Magic to the windows and headlights to make them look like glass. The corners of the image have been paper pierced and layered into blue CS. The embellishments on the left side of the card are two screw brads with silver cord running between them - this little 'look' took forever, that silver cord is fiddly stuff - has anyone else found this or is it just me!?! I love the finish and that is what counts isn't it - 'no pain no gain' - or so they say! LOL!
The silver panels are recycled crossiant trays and I would like to thank my lovely family for providing these so willingly for me - if only they are that keep when it comes to other household activities - LOL! They have been run through the Cuttblebug (the crossiant trays NOT the family! LOL) using the Distressed Stripes embossing folder, again I have used paper piercing on these panels. Finishing off with the sentiment is from PTI.

So glad it was your tray put through the CB and not your children!! LOL!! I had to laugh at that one Linda. This is an incredible "man card" my friend. They are so hard to make I know. The distressed stripes ef is perfect for manly cards especially on the tray you used and I LOVE your paper piercing. The screws with cording came out great Linda!! I'm with you, sometimes "no pain, no gain"!! This is AWESOME!! TFS!
