 | | I combined the sketch challenge and the color challenge this week. I colored the bird with three different blues and then used an ink dauber to blend them before stamping. I also inked the inside edge of the Spellbinders die before cutting/embossing. The edge didn't come out perfectly smooth, kind of mottled, but I really like that look. I added a jewel to the center of the flower for the bling. The sentiment was stamped with Brilliant Blue ink and then cut/embossed with the Spellbinders double ended tags. Don't have the right color brads? Pull out your Copics and color them! I love that! That is exactly what I did for this card, airbrushed silver brads. Don't they look great?
