I made this for the Jan. Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs, found in the Member Company Forums here on SCS or at http://ourdailybreaddesignsblog.blogspot.com/. The Challenge is to use brown and punches or dies.
Today's IC was to take inspiration from The Etsy Shot Groovy Inclinations and I chose this creation:
I used the newly released Our Daily Bread designs set, Confirmation. I lightly stamped the cross in River Rock and then stamped again in Chocolate Chip, cut out the image, and spritzed it with Pearl Glimmer Mist, and popped it up on the main panel. I masked the sentiment to just use the God Bless You part, stamped on vellum and cut with double ended tag from Spellbinders. I attached with 2 antique bronze brads.
Base is Paptertrey, then River Rock with embossed CB edge. MS Pine edge punch for the matting of the image. It made me think of the thorns that were used in the crown they placed upon Jesus' head.
Much more on my blog, along with info on how you can play along and win prizes!
