 | | Happy day everyone!
I managed to finish my shoebox swap cards for tomorrow and stayed up even later to play in the IC since I won't be able to play tomorrow. I am thrilled to be back in my stamp room!
Thanks for the challenge, Stef. You always amaze! I was inspired by the image here, although I ended up with a rather convaluted version of it: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...ng_id=29327175
I used several stamp sets for the background which was embossed in Patina Jade and Ochre Tapestry on gloss stock. Over this I sponged TH Peeled Paint and then sponged with Basic Gray. This was placed over a base of the new gold shimmer stock from Curious Metallics. It's fantabulous and a fraction of the cost of Gmund Treasury. Way to go Curious!
The butterfly is embossed in TH Distress Walnut stain on the same gold stock. Thanks to Peggy-Sue for the God's Beauty set from which I used the butterfly stamp!
Not my best effort, but it's way past my bedtime. Nevertheless, I hope you like it and thanks for looking! |
