 | | My friend is naming her daughter Ruby, so how could I not play off of that for her card? The background layer was sewn on. I stamped the crown in red onto Pink Pirouette, embossed, lined with gold pen, cut out, and stickled. I then attached it with pop dots onto the oval nesties, which had been sponged with pink.
I printed "precious little ruby" onto cream cardstock, cut out using nestie ribbon tags, and again sponged pink. Of course I had to add the tiniest of stickles to the "i" in "little" (fyi-that font is Susie's Hand from abstract fonts--isn't it adorable?). I used little slivers of cardstock to "thread" the buttons, which I attached to the card & ribbons with glue dots. |
